DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY & IMAGING / WEEK 04

WEEK 04 - 27.04.2023
LECTURE - Intro to Photoshop 3.
During week 4, our focus was on using adjustment layers and filters in Adobe Photoshop. We learned how to integrate these tools into the selected composition. By using the adjustment layers and filters, we were able to enhance the overall visual effect. Besides, we also took some pictures together with the physical collage that we had done.

TUTORIAL - Vital Tools.
During the tutorial section, Mr. Fauzi shared several video tutorials that focused on the practical Adobe Photoshop. These tutorials covered various useful techniques, such as removing backgrounds from images, utilizing adjustment layers to single layers, and efficiently correcting skin tones in photographs using Adobe Photoshop.

PRACTICAL - Compositing Collage.
During the practical class, we were assigned the task of utilizing layers, adjustment layers, and filters in Adobe Photoshop to work on our best composition, which was selected by Mr. Fauzi from the previous three different pre-compositions. Additionally, we were required to provide an explanation of what we learned during the process.

Pen Tool Exercise (Best Composition)
Description:
I gained knowledge about the application of various tools such as the lasso tool, pen tool, magic wand tool, and layering. By using the pen tool and magic wand tool, I was able to extract the object from the image, resulting in the creation of a digital collage.
