REFLECTIONS
Experience
The Typography module has reached its final stage, which is week 14. Throughout this module, I have experienced a range of emotions. During the first task, I felt stressed and confused due to my lack of basic knowledge in typography. However, as I progressed to Task 3, I gradually gained a better understanding of the requirements and rules. Following the guidelines, I successfully created my own typeface. Reflecting on the work I have accomplished, particularly the creation of my own typeface, I feel a great sense of appreciation and accomplishment. The journey of transforming from confusion to being able to utilize the typeface on a computer has been truly enjoyable for me.

Observation
Upon studying typography, I observed that it made easier for me to notice the differences between fonts. For instance, I recently came across an article that highlighted the importance of being cautious when clicking on bank links. Surprisingly, the only difference between the fake and real links was the typeface of the letter 'a'. If I hadn't studied typography, I don't think I would have quickly realized the distinctions between the two links. Additionally, I now find myself paying more attention to aspects like alignment, leading, kerning, and other elements of text when designing or typing. Typography has brought about changes in my daily habits.

Findings
After completing a fourteen-week study of typography, I found that it  has a wealth of hidden rules and guidelines that often go unnoticed in my daily lives. Typography is much more than simply arranging letters, it involves a deep understanding of its principle. Creating a well-crafted and effective typeface involves several rules. It is not solely about aesthetics, but also about ensuring that people can understand the words presented, appreciating both their beauty and meaning. Balancing readability, creativity, and beauty is a challenging task. Despite my progress, I acknowledge that I still have much to learn and many steps to take before achieving mastery in typography.
