Reflective Writing.
In the initial stage of this project, I faced some struggles as it was self-directed, lacking clear guidance on the specific theme or title to focus on. However, after reviewing examples of senior's work provided by Mr. Fauzi, I gained a clearer direction. I decided to set the theme of this project around my hobby. To begin, I compiled a list of my hobbies and the reasons why I love them. Additionally, I find visual references on Pinterest to explore different styles that I could incorporate into this project. I then proceed to sketch out ideas that were brewing in my mind.
Upon receiving feedback from Mr. Fauzi, I decided to proceed with my first sketch. I use the right lighting while capturing photographs and experimented with various poses to ensure a better outcome for this project. Before the submission deadline, I presented my poster and animation to Mr. Fauzi, aiming to incorporate the feedback given and make improvements accordingly.
The process of this project was truly enjoyable. I discovered the differences between still images, such as posters, and animations. They evoke different feelings in both myself as the creator and the viewer. I enjoy the experience of bringing still images to life through animation. This assignment allowed me to enhance my photography skills, improve my proficiency in using Adobe Photoshop, and explore ways to animate images in a more natural and meaningful way. The knowledge I acquired throughout this journey has proven beneficial in my daily life, especially in editing photos using Photoshop.
